ABOUT KINESIOLOGY

Kinesiology uses muscle testing to identify stress in the body and uses a multiple of techniques to correct these stressors so that balance can be restored.

Kinesiology was originally developed in the 1960’s by an American Chiropractor called Dr George Goodheart, he observed through muscle testing, connections between muscles and meridian systems, he noted that weakening of energy flow – either through stress, toxins or illness, impacted on the ability of certain muscles to respond.

Kinesiologists detect this muscle change / response in a person to identify the root cause of dis-comfort/ dis-ease behind symptoms, often accessing unconscious survival patterns that keep us stuck in the way we ‘do life’ and then
gently resolve this underlying cause or issue that created the problem, be it structural, nutritional, emotional, mental or spiritual, or even a ‘forgotten’ memory or attitude. It allows us to tap into the reasons for disease on a deeply individualistic basis and aims at restoring balance from within.

Kinesiology includes a range of holistic health modalities which uses muscle monitoring as a feedback mechanism to access information about a person’s overall health. It makes use of a combination of Eastern / Traditional Chinese medicine principles and western techniques to restore and promote balance and well being on many levels.

Kinesiolosy’s effective results come from the way it works with the body’s innate healing intelligence and ability to restore balance and health using a range of gentle yet extremely powerful techniques.Kinesiology allows us to find new ways to respond and adapt to situations, and this in turn allows us to restore and maintain health. It honours the self healing capacity of the body, and complements professional healthcare. Kinesiology can speed up recovery time and improve a person’s quality of life.

I’m looking forward to meeting you and using the modalities in my tool box to help you regain some balance in your life ~ Lisa
